Parx Sportsbook App Download

Apple’s app store has been a formidable foe for many PA sportsbooks and casinos. But that is slowly starting to change.

This week, Parx Sportsbook app launched in Pennsylvania for Apple iOS users. Gamblers can download the app in the app store and access all the same betting lines, odds, and features as Parx’s retail and online versions.

The Parx app is powered by GAN and Kambi. Kambi provides betting lines and support for most of Pennsylvania’s sportsbooks.

  • Parx Sportsbook app download is a super straightforward process and it usually does not take more than several minutes to be completed. Players who are using Android-powered devices will have to visit the Parx Betslip Builder’s platform from their Android device. Here, they will see a downloadable link which will get them the.apk file.
  • Sports betting is here in Pennsylvania. You can make bets at the brand new Sportsbook at Parx Casino ® and the South Philadelphia Race & Sportsbook. You can also bet online via the Parx Casino & Sportsbook app, available on any device.
  • The Parx Casino Sportsbook app has all your favorite sports including pro & college football, pro & college basketball, baseball, hockey, golf, tennis, soccer, boxing, MMA, and more.

Parx should get a bump from the new app

Parx’s sportsbook typically performs well in PA’s monthly sports wagering revenue reports. It will likely gain a boost from the introduction of their iOS app. In New Jersey, nearly 80% of the state’s handle arrives via online bets. Pennsylvania seems headed in that direction, too.

When Parx Online Casino launched on July 15, Parx became the only integrated sportsbook and online casino app in all of Pennsylvania. As of August 2019, Parx is one of only two online sportsbooks with an iOS betting app available in the Apple app store.

Parx and FanDuel only iOS apps

BetRivers and PlaySugarHouse, who are typically the leaders in Pennsylvania’s sports wagering, have yet to introduce a full-scale app for sports betting. Those entities, which are both owned by parent company Rush Street Interactive, rely on the GeoGuard app to adapt their online sites for play on the iPhone.

The Parx app interface looks nearly identical to the Parx online sportsbook that you can access via a web browser.

FanDuel struck first last month by bringing its NJ app to PA

Last month, FanDuel became the first online sportsbook in Pennsylvania to offer an iOS app in Pennsylvania. FanDuel, which already has a sportsbook app established in New Jersey, revamped that app to work in Pennsylvania as well

FanDuel is often the leader in online sports betting in New Jersey and figures to be a prominent player in Pennsylvania as well.

Parx Casino still app-less

Although Parx Sportsbook is now live on the Apple App Store, Parx’s online casino is still working on getting there.

In June, Apple made changes to its app store policies and required that apps involved with real money gaming be written in native iOS code. According to PlayPennsylvania, Apple also wants its apps to be more developed than just wrapped versions of existing web sites.

Those policies have delayed Parx Casino and the numerous other PA gambling entities that have yet to make it to the app store. Recoding online casino games, like slots, is a time-consuming process.

Parx’s app arrived before football season, but will others?

Parx managed to finish and release its app before football season, which is one of the busiest times of the year for sports betting.

Will other sportsbook apps follow suit? You can bet that they are trying.

DraftKings, which recently got access to Pennsylvania via a partnership with the Meadows Racetrack and Casino, would love to be a bigger player in the fall sports betting scene.

Although DraftKings already has a sports betting app in New Jersey, both DraftKings and the Meadows will need to be approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming and Control Board (PGCB) before it can launch.
